Our Story

Simply Sweet is the creation of Joanne and Brendan Kimmins, Brendan is a graduate of Ocean City High School  who recently retired from the Gas Company after 30 years. Joanne moved to South Jersey from West Chester 14 years ago. She ran a manufacturing company for8.5 years where she thought she would work until retirement, but due to inflation, the company decided to shut down. they needed to reinvent themselves and figured out what was next since just sitting around was not in there plans. Together  on the beach they discussed all of there options. a Candy store was one of those options. They wanted a fun business that would make people happy and Simply Sweet was born..
